Ori and the Blind Forest is a platform adventure game that was developed by Moin Studios and published by Microsoft Studios. Ori and the Blind Forest was released in 2015 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

Ori and the Blind Forest

The world of Ori and the Blind Forest is set up in a free and open two dimensional space. The players character in Ori and the Blind Forest is named Ori and he isn’t human he’s a white guardian spirit. Players will be making use of his special abilities to advance in the gameplay in Ori and the Blind Forest.

Ori and the Blind Forest gameplay involves several platform based puzzles that are solved by the player by applying Ori’s special powers to the set up of the puzzle itself.

Ori and the Blind Forest is made so that the player and Ori must learn how to successfully interact with the world around them to solve each puzzle. The goal of Ori and the Blind Forest is to make it through each puzzle, but eventually rescue the forest by doing so.

Some of the special spirit abilities possessed by Ori include being able to shoot fire from his being, and the ability to run across any wall. Not only will the player face platform puzzles in Ori and the Blind Forest but the game also includes obstacles, such as enemies that can hurt the health of Ori.

Ori and the Blind Forest

There are points in the plot and gameplay in Ori and the Blind Forest when the game will stop the player to save all of their progress up until that point. Players can get by on only using these predetermined saving points, but there’s a way for them to create their own. They are called soul links .

Ori and the Blind Forest

Player can create soul links in Ori and the Blind Forest to save the game whenever they would like. Maybe there’s a significant point in the plot that the player wants to set a checkpoint at so it can be returned to later. The only issue with setting up soul links in Ori and the Blind Forest is the process of creating them.

A soul link is actually made by the player so they need all of the resources needed to make one. The resources needed to make soul links are quite rare throughout Ori and the Blind Forest. Therefore, it’s wise for the player to only create a soul link in Ori and the Blind Forest when they believe it’s going to help them later in the game.
